Terms of sale

The terms for buying wallpapers, apps and other digital products from this site.

Who you’re buying from

You’re buying from Sam Underwood, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. You can contact me at hello@samunderwood.co.uk.

These terms apply to everything sold on samunderwood.co.uk. A product’s page may add details that apply only to it, such as which devices an app supports. If they differ from these terms, the product page applies.

Prices and payment

  • Prices are in pounds sterling and are the full amount you pay. If VAT applies, it’s included.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to me.
  • The contract between us starts when your payment is confirmed. You’ll get an email confirming the order.

If a price on the site is clearly wrong, I’ll contact you before your order goes through, and you can cancel it for a full refund.

Getting what you bought

Digital products are available straight away: on the page you see after paying, and through the link in your confirmation email. To download them again later, open your wallpapers and I’ll email you a sign-in link.

I’ll keep your purchases available to download for as long as I sell them. If I stop selling a product, I’ll give you reasonable notice to download it first.

Your right to cancel

The law gives you 14 days to cancel most online purchases. For digital content, that right ends once the download starts, but only if you’ve agreed to it. Before you pay, you’re asked to tick a box asking for the download straight away and confirming you understand you lose the right to cancel once it starts. Your confirmation email repeats this.

If you weren’t asked to agree to that, you can cancel within 14 days of buying for a full refund.

This doesn’t affect your rights if something is faulty. See refunds and cancellations.

Using what you buy

What you can do with a product is set out in the licence. In short: it’s for your own personal use, and the files aren’t to be shared or resold.

Subscriptions

Most products are a single payment. If a product is ever sold as a subscription, its page and checkout will say how much it costs and how often you’re charged. You’ll be able to cancel at any time, and cancelling stops future payments.

When things go wrong

If a product is faulty or doesn’t match its description, the refunds and cancellations page explains what I’ll do.

If a product I supplied damages your device or other digital content, and that’s because I didn’t take reasonable care, I’ll repair the damage or compensate you.

Otherwise, I’m only responsible for losses that were a foreseeable result of me breaking these terms, and up to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms limits my responsibility for anything the law doesn’t allow me to limit, including your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones on this page when you made it.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts. If you live in the EU, you keep the protections of your own country’s consumer law.

If something’s wrong, email hello@samunderwood.co.uk first. Most problems are quicker to sort out that way.
